ABOUT JOMTIEN & PATTAYA

Jomtien town and beach lies about  2km south of Pattaya Beach and is just a short walk from all of our accommodations.
The 6km stretch of sandy coastline is a lot less chaotic and crowded than Pattaya.New hotels, resorts, condominiums, shops and restaurants are rising fast, but you will find the pace  much more peaceful and laidback than Pattaya Beach.
That’s partly why you find more Thais here. Native holiday-makers from Bangkok and beyond come to enjoy cool sea breezes and cheap seafood under the shade of large parasols and the pine trees which fringe the sand.
With its straight beach and few moored boats, Jomtien is a popular place for water sport enthusiasts, with jet skiing, paragliding, wind surfing along with many more activities.
Eating and drinking is a pleasure on the beach and you don’t even need to leave your deckchair if you wish. Wherever you decide to sit for the day the attentive staff who manage that area  will happily bring you food and drink menus. Its just so easy to settle your account at the end of the day. Fancy some easy shopping…………give the beach vendors a chance to show their wares.
If that’s all too much for you you can always pamper yourself with a Traditional Thai massage or maybe a Manicure and Pedicure right on the beach. Always ask the price but you will find all services are great value.
Jomtien Complex just opposite View Talay 2 offers a fine range of Thai and European restaurants and a great choice of bars for all tastes.Very popular with the expat crowd and you are sure to have a good night out!!
